Tour Description

A  day trip to Jaipur by car from Delhi is a great way to explore the Pink City of India, Jaipur, and its most popular tourist attractions in a single day. The tour typically starts early in the morning, and you will be picked up from your hotel or a designated meeting point in Delhi.

After a 4-5 hour journey from Delhi to Jaipur, which is approximately 280 km away, you will arrive in Jaipur and embark on a sightseeing tour of the city. You will visit the most popular tourist attractions in Jaipur, such as the Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Jal Mahal. You can explore the stunning architecture and learn about the history of these monuments from your local guide.

During the day, you can also stop for lunch at a local restaurant and taste some of the local Rajasthani cuisine.

After a full day of exploring Jaipur, the tour will end with a journey back to Delhi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the designated drop-off point.

Itinerary Details

Our driver will take you up from the airport or from your hotel in  Delhi and move for th Jaipur. 

Amer Fort 

You will start you tour with our tour guide provided to you and move to visit the Amer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Amer Fort is well-known for its artistic style of Hindu elements and has cobbled paths, a series of gates, and large ramparts.

City Palace

Later, proceed to visit the City Palace. The Palace houses museums with an array of textiles, costumes, weapons, and paintings in a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings right in the centre of the Old City. The outer wall was built by Jai Singh II, but within it, the palace has been enlarged and adapted over the centuries.

Jal Mahal (Water Palace)

Next, visit Jal Mahal, near the cenotaphs of the Maharanis of Jaipur. Beautifully situated in the watery expanse of Man Sagar, this is a dreamlike palace. Its origins are uncertain, but it was believed to have been extensively restored, if not built, by Jai Singh II in 1734.

Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind)

Continue by visiting Hawa Mahal, a monument known as the Palace of Winds, which is considered as one of the most highly praised landmarks in Jaipur.

Jantar Mantar

In the end, visit the World Heritage Site Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that dates back to the 1700s. Jantar Mantar is an observatory begun by Jai Singh II in 1728 that resembles a collection of bizarre giant sculptures.

Back to Delhi 

After sightseeing drive back to Delhi on arrival you will be dropped at airport or your hotel in Delhi.
